There are a lot of community grants out there from the local business that you and your friends and family may work at! The search term you seem to want for this is community, like business name and community, or community grants, community outreach, community giving, community involvement etc.

Smaller Project based

These opportunities generally speaking require a project with a very specific scope, IE your project! Most are also based around some public need like education, environment, community, health care, etc. Write it up your project get funded!

501c3 required Education, Environment, and Community

For children with disabilities, health care for the uninsured or underserved, or public schools) Up to $5k funded January 1 and ending on October 31.

501c3 required Education, Health and Human Services, Arts and Culture, Civic Leadership

501c3 required Education: Agency's mission is focused on providing occupational or scholastic education and/or educational resources to people of all ages. Also includes educational institutions that are dedicated solely to people with disabilities. Accepted March 1 - March 31 Avg $5k

501c3 Required Community and Economic Development, Education and Job Training, Health and Human Care, Civic and Cultural

Education, Workforce Development, Health and Wellness, Environmental Stability, Hunger Relief, Small Business Support, Youth Entrepreneurship. $250-$5k February to Dec 1

501c3 required Safety, Community (economic development included), Education(Teacher Development, Service-Learning and Systemic Improvement) Period is January 2 through October 31

501c3 required Serve a diverse population in local or regional communities Build social, academic, leadership and/or life skills in early adolescents (primarily ages 13-18) Show positive results against a demonstrated community need Reach at-risk children in working families Avg $3-5K, $10K Max

Big Stuff

This is the stuff that the grantors might find too big for our britches until we get some big name partners, or some smaller grants under our belt. However if you think you've got the credentials and the partners, lets try it!

STEM Education, especially for girls and underrepresented groups Request must be between $100,000 and $250,000 Apply by April 22

Volunteer Program - 20 hours before Sept 30 $200, 40 hours is $400

Volunteers/equipment/in kind/event based

You can request volunteers on a project basis

Request for money/volunteers for an event Education (STEM), The Environment, Health and Human Services 1 December for consideration in January, 1 June for consideration in July

General Operating allowed

This means these organization should be willing to fund HeatSync labs -in general- based on the work we do including any specific project we might be working on.
