I started this project on a whim as I've always had a keen interest in robotics, but relatively little knowledge about mechanics, electrical engineering or the like. By trade I'm a video game developer, and I've got some experience programming AI, so bringing some of this stuff into the real world is very appealing.
Enter Kodama, my robot concept that has become a full blown (and full budget) project.
