What is it? Like the store?
Hot Topics is our unfortunately named lightning talks series modeled on events like Ignite, Ted, and Noisebridge's Five Minutes of Fame. Talks are <5 minutes and generally revolved around creation and hackerspace culture.
When?
Hot Topics is generally scheduled to coincide with Mesa's monthly Second Friday event starting between 7 and 8pm, however check the Event Calendar for confirmation.
Why?
It is an opportunity to :
- keep up to date with each other's projects
- connect with other hackerspaces
- explain to the world at large what 'hackers' get up to
How do I participate?
Send an email to info@heatsynclabs.org with your presentation topic and title and we'll notify the speakers prior to the event. If your talk wasn't accepted this month, submit again!
