I want something that works kind of like a stem, but attaches to a handlebar where a normal stem attaches to the steering tube. The idea is to make it possible to mount a second set of handlebars out front of the actual handlebars. That extra bar will give me room for more accessories.

I'm going to print it from ABS-like resin. I haven't used that kind of resin before, but I've seen some research showing good impact resistance. I'm very interesting to see if I can get a quick and dirty version that works. Then I may go on to making it thinner, lighter, and more visually appealing.

I'm interested to see if I can get a quick and dirty version that works. Then I may go on to making it thinner, lighter, and more visually appealing.
