Lets pick out a list of 'essential' tools in each category.  The [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fab_lab Fab Lab] might be a good starting point for this.  For those that are prohibitively expensive, lets choose the ACTUAL tool we ACTUALLY want to buy and post a kickstarter campaign for it. For cheaper tools [[Local_Resources#Auctions | Auctions]], [http://www.craigslist.com Craigslist] and [[Cheap Chinese Tools]] are probably the way to go to start.
